CT Scan: Computerized Axial Tomography (CT or CAT) X-rays bones, soft tissues and blood vessels in cross sections from different angles.

Your doctor might order a CT scan to evaluate:

    Trauma.
    Evaluation of the chest.
    Fractures or broken bones.
Changes in soft tissue that can signal the spread of a disease.
Fever or pain of unknown origin.
Function of heart, kidneys or liver.
If you are asked to get a CT scan, you must drink a “contrast agent” a few hours before your scan. This chalky-tasting liquid enhances the structure and fluids in the body, making the CT images clearer and easier to read.
Lot of scan centres in india different prices. Good quality scans and lowest price given offer www.bookmyscans.com.   contact:9585651177

PET (and PET/CT) is used for whole-body ontological (cancer) surveys. A whole body MRI is not currently feasible because it would take hours to perform and interpret, and would yield little additional actionable diagnostic information over PET/CT for the purposes of cancer treatment. PET/CT is great for cancer imaging because it can easily highlight tissue with high rates of energy turnover, i.e. cancer cells.

MRI gives more anatomic detail of most parts of the body, particularly of the soft tissues (cartilage, muscle, tendons, ligaments, etc), but this level of detail is generally not required in cases where you're scanning the entire body to get a survey of whether the person has multifocal cancer (because the treatment generally wouldn't change based on our current level of medical knowledge and treatment algorithms). But there are many things that your radiologist can spot on an MRI that he/she couldn't on a PET/CT.  PET-CT Scan Very Low Cost offer Given www.bookmyscans.com

Hope that helps!!
